Public Service Announcement
From: Larry Newsom, City Manager
Subject: Flagler Beach Post Office & Mail Delivery
Date: October 13, 2016
The following information is respectfully provided for those residents and business owners on North & South Oceanshore Boulevard that live or own businesses in the effected SRA1A detour areas. The Flagler Beach Post Office is open and we’ve been advised by their Staff that they’re holding mail for the addresses on Oceanshore Boulevard that mail carriers cannot access. Residents can pick up their mail up in person at the Post Office with proper identification.
The United States Postal Service is working on a long term solution to this situation. Once we receive updated information from the United States Postal Service, we’ll provide that information to our community. The location of our Post Office is 300 South Daytona Avenue, Flagler Beach, FL 32136.
City Manager Larry Newsom stated “We’re doing our very best to get our community back up and running to the way their lives were before Hurricane Matthew and we’re working with our local Post Office to help get our folks mail”.
If you have any questions regarding the information contained within this announcement or if you have additional mail questions, please feel free to contact City Hall or our local Post Office.
