The FBPD accepts and processes found, lost, and abandoned property in accordance with Chapter 705, Florida Statutes.

If you find property that appears to be lost or abandoned within the City of Flagler Beach, please contact FBPD as soon as possible so an officer can document the item and provide instructions on next steps. Do not post identifying details of valuables on social media.

Think We Have Your Property?
If you believe FBPD has your property, please look through the list below and contact our Property/Evidence function with a detailed description of the item and any identifying information you may have (serial number, unique markings, case number, date/location lost, etc.).
To claim property, you will generally need:
- A valid photo ID
- Proof of ownership (receipt, serial number, photos, registration, etc.)
- Any related case number (if available)
- FBPD may require additional documentation depending on the item.
Public Notice of Found/Abandoned Property
When required by Florida law, FBPD provides public notice for certain property in our custody. Notices are posted for the time period required by statute and may include a general description of the property and relevant information needed for an owner to come forward.
If you believe a posted notice describes your property, contact FBPD promptly with proof of ownership.
Unclaimed Property
Property that is not claimed within the timeframes and procedures established by Florida law may be disposed of as permitted under Chapter 705, Florida Statutes.
