The Victim Services Unit provides assistance to anyone who has been a victim or witness to a crime within the City of Flagler Beach. The purpose of the unit is to assist victims in coping with the physical and psychological trauma that is often the result of crime victimization.
Such services this unit provides include, but are not limited to:
- Death Notification
- Crisis / Short Term Counseling
- Personal Advocacy
- Information and Safety Planning
- Victims’ Compensation Assistance
- Community Education
- Criminal Justice Support and Advocacy
- Professional Training

Volunteer Victim Services Program
The Flagler Beach Police Department Victim Services Program offers a comprehensive Volunteer Program easily tailored to suit your abilities and schedule. Duties can range from basic office functions to providing direct services to crime victims. Our program is also able to accommodate college students looking for an internship. We will work directly with your school to assist you in completing all necessary requirements.
Our program is looking for passionate, motivated individuals who want to make a positive difference in the community.
